Syria and Israel Ratchet the Heat

It seems that the Israelis may have gotten caught by Syrian defences and had to drop tanks and bombs and run for the border. At least this is what Syria claimed to this unnamed source. I guess it is just a matter of who shot first.

"It appears that the Israeli planes were on a reconnaissance mission when
they got caught by Syrian defenses and were forced to drop their bombs and extra
fuel tanks," said a Western diplomat in Syria's capital Damascus. He declined to
be named.
