Microsoft Auto?

This sounds literally like an accident waiting to happen.
Microsoft and Siemens will first develop multimedia capabilities
for the Microsoft Auto platform, in order to easily connect portable
entertainment devices with vehicle systems.

I would hate to be driving along and get a BSOD in my dashboard display. Or have a buffer overflow that caused a hacker to make me crash into a fire hydrant. Or even weirder would be if Microsoft Auto was hacked and someone stole my car by driving it away while using a backup cam and an onboard GPS device. That sounds like something out of a James Bond movie.
