McDonalds Employee Causes Georgia to Waste Money

I think this is a case of fraud, waste and abuse by Union City Georgia officials.
A McDonald's employee spent a night in jail and is facing criminal
charges because a police officer's burger was too salty, so salty that he says
it made him sick.

Kendra Bull was arrested Friday, charged with misdemeanor reckless
conduct and freed on $1,000 bail.

So some idiot cop ate an entire salty burger and got sick? Why didn't he just dump the thing after one bite and come back to the McDonalds and complain? I would be willing to bet that McDonalds would have given him a free burger in compinsation. Instead they charged this poor person with a crime and this part is the kicker:
Police said samples of the burger were sent to the state crime lab for
tests.
So right now a Georgia Crime Lab is testing salty hamburger meat because some idiot got sick from eating an entire salty burger? Doesn't this state have actual murders and things to solve and should not be wasting their time investigating salty meat? I hope McDonalds send out their high powered lawyers to defend this poor employee and sue the state for millions in damages.

This is the most ludicrous form of police harassment I have ever read about.
