This is a great post on the Jawa Report. It gives some background about true Gulags and what Amnesty International is calling a Gulag. This is just like the Bush is Hitler stuff.
The LLL doesn't know their history so they just grasp at an evil dictator that comes to mind and say the current guy is just as bad. I have a feeling that they only know that Hitler was bad and Bush is bad so they are the same. So that some detainees tell them that Gitmo is bad and the Soviet gulags were bad and thus Gitmo is as bad as a Soviet Gulag.
