Wait: @TheNewYorkTimes Had Obama Wiretapping Info Back on January 19th?

This is certainly a curious article with a curious passage.

The F.B.I. is leading the investigations, aided by the National Security Agency, the C.I.A. and the Treasury Department’s financial crimes unit. The investigators have accelerated their efforts in recent weeks but have found no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, the officials said. One official said intelligence reports based on some of the wiretapped communications had been provided to the White House.

I have a feeling that they were wiretapping Russian spies that had contact with Trump people and found no wrongdoing. The question is did this wiretapping happen in Trump Tower or in the Russian embassy, the ambassadors residence, or wherever these Russians were. Also I wonder if they hacked Manfort's cell phone such? In any case the investigation needs to happen and soon.
