Blagojevich Compares His Corruption Trial to Pearl Harbor

There is nothing like comparing the backlash of him trying to sell Obama's Senate seat to the highest bidder to the death of 2117 American Servicemen from hostile enemy fire.

"Dec. 9 to my family, to us, to me, is what Pearl Harbor Day was to the United States," Gov. Rod Blagojevich told The Associated Press in an interview Thursday. "It was a complete surprise, completely unexpected. And just like the United States prevailed in that, we'll prevail in this."

The US "prevailed in that" because 416,800 people were killed trying to fight against the Nazis and the Japanese. Gov. Blagojevich just got caught with his hand in the cookie jar trying to solicit money from children's hospitals and sell Senate seats so he and his wife can retire in luxury. This guy is just too funny for words.
