Let's Hope for a Mild Winter

Now this price increase will really cut into some peoples spending habits.

A typical household heating with natural gas is projected to spend an additional $350 this winter compared with last year, according to the report published by the Energy Information Administration, the statistical arm of the Energy Department.

Now that is quite a chunk out of peoples already stretched savings. This money will probably come out of buying Christmas presents this season. It may be one of those record low holiday seasons when compared to previous years. This could put a serious hurting on consumer goods and retailers. $350 is around the same price of an X-box 360, a new DVD recorder, 3 pairs of high end jeans, or the Video Ipod.
