Well at least they gave it their all. I really wanted to see a Yankee-Boston 7 game donnybrook for all the marbles but it isn't going to happen. Oh well there is always those baked beans.

I'm a huge Cardinals fan so I have mixed feelings about the BoSox loss. On the one hand they are the enemy and I'm glad to see them out on their can, but on the other hand I'd like to see the Cardinals take them in a re-match.
But, considering they are a wildcard team, and considering their ridiculous payroll, overall I am pleased to see them make an early and humiliating exit.
Thanks for the news about Bible in school. I have mixed feelings about that too. The Bible is uniquly important, and I hate to see the abuse of seperation of church and state policies forcing it out of the "public" arena, but it is a worse thing for the Bible to be taught by those who won't treat it well. It seems like a recipe for widespread Bible abuse.
