This seems like a very good deal for Disney depending on how much they will be paying for Pixar:
Pixar shares closed at $58.27 on Monday on Nasdaq, putting its market value at just under $7 billion. The shares have risen about 12 percent in the last month, partly on speculation that Disney would buy the computer animation company that created such hits as "Toy Story," "Finding Nemo" and "The Incredibles."
I think CGI animated movies are the only way to go when it comes to making big money in this industry. All of those movies mentioned made a great deal of money and would make a great addition to Disneys library of marketable properties. Also they all have very easy sequel potential as well. Disney is really buying a great property here.
