President Barack Obama says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu didn't offer any "viable alternatives" to the nuclear negotiations with Iran during his speech to Congress.
Obama says he read a transcript of Netanyahu's speech Tuesday. He says "there was nothing new" in the speech.
I guess Obama skimmed it because a viable alternative is continue the sanctions until Iran gives up the pursuit of the bomb. Between a bad deal and no deal you take no deal. A 10 year waiting period on a nuclear Iran is no kind of deal if Obama is serious about Israeli Security.
If Iran keeps going after the bomb you have to destroy their research facilities. I mean Israel will do it if the White House blinks. Then Obama will probably condemn it in the strongest possible terms and punish Israel for protecting itself. You would bet the Dems would want to put sanctions in place on Israel if they start bombing nuclear sites.
