Regardless of all the “buzz” surrounding BB15 — or perhaps because of the nature of it — recent ratings have registered all-time lows for the summertime staple.
Because of the controversy, Aaryn
and GinaMarie have, still unbeknownst to them, lost a modeling contract
and a job as a pageant coordinator, respectively. Other houseguests on
record as having made racist, homophobic and/or misogynist remarks, such
as Spencer, were not singled out in the segment.
Actually it seems that CBS didn't air the Nazi-doctor lover Spencers remarks for whatever reason.
The comments heard on the 24-hour web feed from CBS.com
included gay slurs; commending Nazi leader Adolf Hitler as a gifted
speaker, as well as the work done by Nazi doctors; and use of a
derogatory sexual term for women.
At least his employer is running for cover.
"The values represented by Spencer Clawson's comments during the Big
Brother show do not at all align with Union Pacific's values. Mr.
Clawson is on unpaid leave of absence while participating on Big
Brother. Union Pacific does not condone his comments," the company said
in a prepared statement. "Union Pacific is acting in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreement terms regarding Mr. Clawson."
I'm pretty sure Union Pacific would be against someone who is praising the wholesale torture and slaughter of Jews and Roma at Auschwitz. Hopefully the union hinted at in that collective bargaining agreement will step aside and make this anti-Semite find work on the Holocaust Denial circuit with former Iranian President Ahmadinajoke.
