BaucusCare Moves One Republican Closer to Passage

It seems like the other GOP Senator from Maine may be on board for BaucusCare.

"My hope is we that can fix the flaws in the bill and come together with a truly bipartisan bill that could garner widespread support," Collins said in an interview. "I think this bill is far superior to the ones passed by the Senate (health) committee and the three House committees, but it needs substantial additional work."

What they need to do is make sure the public option is off the table even with a so-called "trigger option." Also they need to put in a amendment that will limit medical malpractice awards. That might get more moderate GOP support and actually reduce costs.
