Sprints Hopes Rest on Crappy IPhone-like Item

It kind of sucks that a company that is so damaged that it can't roll out a game-changing technology like WiMax without begging for funds is pinning all their hopes on such an ugly device.
The Samsung Instinct will be available in June for a yet undetermined price, Sprint announced at CTIA Wireless, a cell-phone industry trade show in Las Vegas. Executives hinted that the price would be substantially lower than the $399 charged for the cheapest iPhone.

I mean it looks like an IPhone designed by a guy that makes plastic flanges for a living. Also those icons have to be some of the most boring ever created for an electronic device. Even the happy face above the word "Fun" makes me want to take a nap.

I figure after they pump $150 million into advertising this thing will probably sell about 1/3 of the amount that the IPhone does and be a big disaster for Sprint. It just looks like such a 2nd rate knock-off when you directly compare the two devices. I mean it looks crappy even if it was the first touch-phone produced instead of coming a year late to the party.
