Well, it looks like the US got their man at last.
Coalition forces killed al-Qaida terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and one of his key lieutenants, spiritual adviser sheik Abdel-Rahman, yesterday, June 7, at about 6:15 in the evening. This happened in an airstrike which was conducted against an identified, isolated safe house.
It will be very interesting to learn how they did it in the years to come. Was it a member of Zarqawis group that ratted him out? And what roll did the Jordan Intelligence play in this whole thing. I think a History Channel documentary should be in order on what went down.
