President Obama will visit the Puget Sound area next month to talk about the economy and headline a fundraiser for Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., an administration ally locked in what she describes as a close reelection race.
A White House spokesman would not give a date, but Murray campaign spokeswoman Julie Edwards indicated the visit will be August 17.
He has pretty much doomed the chances of every candidate he has stumped for in the past. Washington State is pretty deeply blue plus Murray has been Senator for 17 years. So if they lose here then Obama's vulture streak will take on epic proportions. I wonder if he should avoid White Sox games in order for them to win the AL Central?
