This sounds about right from my point of view.
Journolist provides a window into the mindset of the journalistic and academic left in this country. It is not a pretty sight. The demonization and dehumanization of critics is arresting. Those who hold contrary views to the Journolist crowd aren’t individuals who have honest disagreements; they are evil, malignant, and their voices need to be eliminated from the public square. It is illiberal in the extreme.
Well liberals have always been illiberal about any thought that they don't agree with. If they can't raise a better argument they are quick to censor and try to use the government to stop the argument from going on any further.
It all goes down to a saying I heard from Dennis Prager years ago: Conservatives think Liberals are Wrong; Liberals think Conservatives are Evil. If you go by that assumption it isn't a big stretch to see them demonizing and dehumanizing conservatives. Even the insane violence and the watching Rush Limbaugh die fantasies are from this same mindset.

It only sounds about right until you recall all the nasty things conservatives have said about liberals.
It isn't about the mean things being said. It is about the conspiracy to shape the news to get their guy elected. These sources were supposed to be impartial arbiters of news and the Journalist shows they were far from it.
