President Barack Obama announced Friday that the administration will launch a manufacturing hub designed to bring together academics, government engineers and private industry to design cutting-edge materials, equipment and manufacturing processes.
This seems to be a sort of research factory and depending on what they patent it might eventually pay for itself instead of being a money vacuum like everything else in the government. It would certainly bring in high paying jobs and tax revenue to whatever state it is built in.
