What Causes Nightmares?

This is an interesting article on what things cause nightmares. I almost never get them so maybe I am avoiding these things correctly. The causes in the article are:

1. Stress and Anxiety
2. Spicy Food and eating right before bedtime
3. High Fat Content Food
4. Alcohol
5. Drugs (I know people on sleep meds that had some doozy nightmares)
6. Illness
